Conflict Management & Personal Safety
Every workplace (including voluntary) has the risk of conflict management.
Conflict and risks to personal safety can be displayed in any sector and occur at any time.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requires employers to assess any risks in the workplace (including conflict management and personal safety) and provide the resources and training to reduce the risk. Establishing the risk is determined by an employer conducting a risk assessment under the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999.
