Fire Safety Qualification
| Course Aim |
The aim of this course is to provide students with training in basic fire safety awareness for the workplace and to define the role of a Fire Marshall. |
| Objectives |
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the role of Fire Safety in the Workplace
- Explain the Employers & Employees duties under the Fire Safety Regulation Order 2005
- Explain the requirements needed for a fire to start
- Discuss and Define Emergency Procedures
- Identify and Select the appropriate Fire Extinguisher to the relevant cause of fire
- Define the role of a Fire Marshall
- Examine and Discuss a Fire Escape Plan
- Demonstrate the safe use of a Fire Extinguisher
