Level 2 Administration of Medical Gases

Course Outline

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to safely administer medical gases.

This 4 hour course will teach students how to administer oxygen and analgesic gases. This course can also be combined with our Level 2 AED Award to make a complete training solution. This course is tailored to the the needs of the students and their working/voluntary roles.

• Safety & Storage of Cylinders
• Administration of Oxygen to a Casualty
• Resuscitation
• Resuscitation Equipment
• Administration of Analgesic Gas
• Scenarios

Assessment

The student is assessed by continual assessment by the course instructor throughout the course.
