First Aid Training
Welcome to our First Aid section.
First Aid training can make the difference between life or death.
First Aid training provides students with the knowledge and skills to intervene and manage a first aid incident until professional medical care can arrive e.g. the ambulance service.
We offer a range of first aid courses and as a Health and Safety Executive approved centre to deliver first aid at work training, we offer the approved qualifications for the workplace.
Workplaces are governed by Acts of Parliament and Regulations.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requires employers to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees. This also includes members of the public and contractors.
The Management of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires employers to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to the health and safety of all their employees. The risk assessment will provide employers with the information needed to assess the first aid requirements of the organisation and are required to make the provisions available.
The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate personnel, training, equipment and facilities to render first aid to their employees should they become injured or taken ill at work.
Our approved training courses provide employees with the recognised and approved training to meet the legal requirements placed upon employers.
If you are unsure which course to choose, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will provide you with the advice and support. |
