Level 2 Working at Heights
Course Introduction
The Work at Height Regulations apply to all work at height where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury. The Work at Height Regulations bring together all existing work at height regulation and state the minimum health and safety requirements for the use of equipment for work at height. Employers have a duty to ensure that work at a height is properly planned, appropriately supervised and carried out in a manner that is safe.
This 1 Day course is designed for staff who work at heights as part of their role. It provides underpinning knowledge that is vital for all employees.

Course Aim
The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to safely work at height.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Define the legislation surrounding Working at heights
- Examine and discuss the dangers of working at height
- Define employer and employee responsibilities
- Examine and discuss the role of fall arrest equipment
- State the requirement for using ladders in accordance with the manufactures instructions
- Examine and discuss the role of safety equipment
- Examine and discuss the need to clean and store equipment
- Examine the role of the ladder fall protection system
