Level 2 Introduction to Sexually Transmitted Diseases & HIV

Course Introduction

In 2005 there were 61,254 people diagnosed with HIV, of whom 21,000 were unaware of their infection. Whatever your sector, this course will allow you to become aware of what the infections are, how those effected are supported and gain an awareness of preventative methods.

This is a 3 hour course and is designed for anyone in the education, local authority, emergency services and health & social care sectors.

Course Aim

The aim of this course is to introduce students with the knowledge and skills to appreciate the effects of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV.
