All Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme- (Inanimate Objects)
Course Introduction
This 1/2 day course provides students with the knowledge and skills to safely move inanimate objects.
Manual Handling injuries are the cause of most lost working days in the UK, with sprains and strains due to the incorrect lifting and moving of objects causing most suffering to employees.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and subsequent Regulations require that employees are provided with information and training and this general requirement should be supplemented with specific training and information on manual handling.
This course is full compliant with the All Wales Manual Handling Passport standards.

Assessment
Students will be assessed against the All Wales Manual Handling Passport- The student will be required to discuss, observe and demonstrate each skill and on completion, will complete a passport document to demonstrate skills achieved.
