Course Aim
The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to teach and obtain the City & Guilds Level 4 CTLLS qualification.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

- Demonstrate how to plan for inclusive learning
- Demonstrate how to use teaching and learning strategies and resources inclusively to meet curriculum requirements

- Demonstrate subject knowledge of the minimum core in own practice
- Define how reflection, evaluation and feedback can be used to develop own practice
- State key concepts and principles of assessment
- State and use different types of assessment
- Analyse the strengths and limitations of a range of assessment methods, including, as appropriate, those which exploit new and emerging technologies
- State the role of feedback and questioning in the assessment of learning
- Demonstrate how to monitor, assess, record and report learner progress and achievement to meet the requirements of the learning programme and the organisation.

Assessment
You will demonstrate what you've learned through both practical skills assessments and assignments that cover the theory of teaching. These assessments may include a portfolio of evidence, practical skills demonstrations, and written examinations. You will also complete 30 practice teaching hours.
