Course Details
This short course addresses both the theory and practical aspects of safely using a Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) and Signal Generator (Genny), delivered in line with HSG 47 for Avoiding Danger from Underground Services. Students will be taught essentials on how to use the equipment before a practical element where they will be shown how to correctly trace and mark underground service lines.
The course is designed for learners responsible to carry out service scans prior to an excavation.
